Union Vote

Things are moving right along at Durham Region Transit. On Friday February 10, all of the unionized employees at DRT voted for the union of their choice. We had a choice between Canadian Union of Public Employees (CUPE) Local 111 and Canadian Auto Workers Local 222. Workers voted in favour of the CAW by a margin of 180 to 88. I will be attending as many meetings as I can of Local 222. I hope to see all of my brothers and sisters in attendance also.
